I like this but I wish the white was a different color, hard to see.
But its totally true, not all bad in this world. Still a lot of good, which is worth fighting for.
this is kinectasploit 2.0 and it’s as close to cyberpunk as we have in the world right now.
The reasons: This is an attack toolkit using a Kinect and gestures to hack your way into machines.
In the demo above we see cracking a wireless access key, scan a network, retrieve credentials, sql inject a web site, crack passwords and perform forensics to retrieve a ‘garbage’ file from a system. (A nod of course to “hacking t3h Gib50n” as they say).
This is the very beginning of what you wished hacking looked like when you watched movies as a kid.
There is a moment in the video at 5:50 where the creator of the software, Jeff Bryner of p0wnlabs, speaks about why he chose the shape of the 3D access points. HE describes the physical object from his childhood that inspired this metaphorical shape.
This man is creating a metaphorical interface for moving through the web and in such also infiltration. The interface is extremely important.
It’s not club wear, it’s not video games, it’s not science fiction movies, or industrial music. It’s the implied space. It’s not hollywood.
That description is CYBERSPACE.
This is actual, rubber meeting the fucking road, cyberpunk.
now that is FUCKING epic!
